Covering all the areas other than the CBD of Sydney, Greater Sydney Tourism provides an opportunity for promotion, development and engagement for an area that has a variety of council engagement in a region where there is considerable variation in the degree to which councils engage with tourism.
Greater Sydney Tourism Inc provides councils, associations and businesses with a platform to engage with the tourism and events industry.
Economic Development Officers, Community Development Managers, Executive Officers, Tourism Officers or business people attend regular meetings that offer opportunities and activities for involvement.
This platform also provides a larger voice in state and federal government and increases potential to apply for development and promotion grants to assist the Greater Sydney Tourism Industry.
Home of the Greater Sydney Tourism Awards, Greater Sydney Tourism offers a regional tourism awards program for businesses within Greater Sydney that allows the recognition of their achievements while also providing a solid program to help the development of small business. Winners of these awards progress to state and potentially to the national tourism awards. |
